Adult Colouring

How are you all?

Back into the swing of things after Christmas?

I wanted to share with you today the wonderful world of adult colouring (not nude and risky images, although I'm sure there are colouring books along this theme) I find colouring very calming and relaxing. As a chronic pain sufferer its really helped me to get through times of a bad flare.

I have been dipping my toe into the world of colouring revolution, but for Christmas I received not one, not two now you might be thinking its got to be three, but no you are wrong its four! I received four colouring books for Christmas from different people and none of them were the same! Amazing...

With my colour pencils all sharpened and ready...by the way if you become a serious colourer ( I class myself as such) then its worth investing in a electric sharpener. I picked mine up from WHSmiths and has saved me from developing RSI in my hand.

Sometimes I use pens and paints, but my favourite are pencils as you can blend and they don't leak through to the image on the other side leaving it useless!

A day does not pass without me doing colouring in some form. The image above is from the Lost Ocean book, Its a lovely book and is my go to at the moment. I do like Johanna Basford's books the best, such lovely illustrations.

You can find some sample pages here so you can print out and give it a try. Let me know how you get on :)

Do you enjoy colouring? Can you recommend any good books?

Hope you are all well
