One very dull and wet day my daughter and I popped into Cambridge. I was very excited as I would get to visit John Lewis, Tiger and Paperchase. We parked up, making a note of the floor we are on (I am good at forgetting so I take a photo)
First stop was Paperchase, Oh so many new and pretty things. I decided to look at the postcards first, picking up a couple that made me smile. They may become dashboards for my planner or maybe just to make me smile when looking at my noticeboard.
Having seen some washi tape I liked online we went on a search. Oh my I picked it up to my daughter saying "really mum? you don't need more washi" I can forgive her, she does not understand!
Next into Tiger, because we had gone in early the shop was nearly empty. I was a little disappointed as nothing really stood out. I think was visited in between seasons so not much new to see. I did pick up this pack of sticky notes, liking the colours especially the black ones.
OK now to pop into John Lewis, I had a £25 voucher burning a hole in my pocket. I headed straight to the Kate Spade stationery as I knew this is where I would spend my voucher. Lusting after the gold dot pencil case for a while and today was the day she was coming home with me :)
So pretty, she contains 2 pencils, ruler, eraser and pencil sharpener
Back to the car and onto Hobby Craft. I did not find much at all that took my eye, but they had a load of new washi tape.
When I returned home with my bag of new goodies I was greeted with a order I had made with Cloudy Cow.
Perfect stickers to use in my snail mail and journal.
Such a lovely day spent looking around shops and laughing with my daughter :)
I never though of using postcards as dashboards this is such a great idea! - TheGreatFlower.com
