Allotment

We spent the day up the allotment yesturday, planning to do the same today. We are lucky to have had out allotment 4 years. Everyone said to me when I took it over " it will take about 4 years to get it managable" Very true. Only now is it managable!

Yesturday I planted my Early Potatoes, Beetroot, Carrots and Peas. Im planning on going up again today to plant Broad Beans, Onions ( i have 200! ) Spring Onions and parsnips.

In the last year we have always come home with a harvest. Yesturday It was enough leeks and Cabbages to feed the whole street!

Children enjoying the fresh air! They did help alot, this was just a break.
Purple Kale, its been a fantastic crop. Grows back after every picking. Seen us right through the winter :)

    I am just starting to plant up my small patch at the bottom of my garden, which I call my allotment,Haha...x
